Other Archived686 Cambridge St Cambridge, MA 02141, USA - Wellington-HarringtonThe railway crossing here is faulty and sometimes keeps ringing the bells for hours and hours long after the train is gone. It is not only confusing for people on the road but also very annoying for people living within earshot of the crossing, making it hard to sleep at night.

Bike Lane Obstruction Archived71 Fulkerson St #113 Cambridge, MA 02141, USA - East CambridgeThe two way separated Bike lane segment here that runs between Charles St and Spring St along Fulkerson ends abruptly at Spring St & Fulkerson St. From this point on, for bikes traveling towards Cambridge St, they are counterflow to vehicular traffic on Fulkerson. Whereas Fulkerson st is very wide and experiences very low traffic, there should be a counterflow painted bike lane installed here to enable continuous travel from Binney St to Cambridge St.
Currently bikes are forced to either ride on the sidewalk, or to turn right and take a longer route when Fulkerson St lies empty most of the time. -
Other Archived32 Vassar St Cambridge, MA 02139, USA - Mitthe pedestrian crossing on Vassar st at this location is very high traffic. Yet, vehicles are hesitant to stop before the crosswalk, and cars speed to their hearts' content passing here. This makes for a dangerous pedestrian crossing. We need more signage to alert cars and speed bumps to slow them down. Cars aren't doing pedestrians a favor by stopping here, pedestrians have right of way.

Other Archived371 Cardinal Medeiros Ave Cambridge, MA 02141, USA - Wellington-HarringtonRequesting a bike lane.
Cardinal Madeiros Ave is frequented by bicyclists yet features narrow lanes and heavy car traffic. These conditions make it dangerous for bicyclists to ride here. Given the number of bicyclists using this road for commute, a separate bike lane would be a great addition to the road from Cambridge St all the way up to Main St./Mass Ave (via Portland St and Ames St). -
Bike Lane Obstruction Archived77 Mass Ave - Mit Cambridge, MA 02142, USA - MitThere is a weird tar bump on the road in the bike lane between 77 Mass Ave and Vassar, and it is not easily visible after dark. It is dangerous as it could easily make a bicyclist slip and fall without realising.
